Still having problems teaching his wonderful defense systems to the slow-learning backs apparently.

My bet on Japan is looking good at the moment.

I'd prefer the loose forwards from the previous game on defence.

Yeah, we really are a very average side at the moment. The forwards are playing individually and not supporting the ball runner. They are good in patches but the Foster era really is headless chook stuff a lot of the time.
What is obvious is that Sam Cane is soooo off the pace it isn't funny.

Time to switch on, lads.

Inside balls aside, they seem to have predicted our attacking patterns very well.

This habit of letting runners past and trying to run them down from behind needs to go. And RM needs to stop kicking ball away with no contesting runners.

It was backward out of the hands, which is in the rules as not a forward pass.

Where I counted at least 2 in the passage leading up to the second Japan try, maybe 3.

@JC Aside from the short bombs to Clarke, our kick chase has been abysmal.
