Tordah

I'm not quite up to date with Northern squads. Is this a B team for France? I recognize very few names.

MiketheSnow

A- / B+

Tordah

Thanks. Their openside sure has an unfortunate name.

MiketheSnow

Great first half

Plenty of running and tough nosed defence from both sides

Muntz is a real find for Fiji at fly half

Another great refereeing performance from the Georgian

Based on his ‘take no shit’ approach last week in dishing out the cards, this match has been a joy to watch

No bullshit, no skullduggery

More of the same please

Fiji are fit

MiketheSnow

France steal an interception against the run of play

Gut punch to Fiji

@MiketheSnow love some of thier passes, such slight of hand, but things just falling away at the moment since that intercept.

taniwharugby

@MiketheSnow missing alot of 1st up tackles too, but covering well

taniwharugby

hope refs are consistent with that call for taking players beyond the ruck

MiketheSnow

Great defence from France

That’s the match

taniwharugby

@MiketheSnow ounce of luck and a bit more accuracy, Fiji could have taken this.

MiketheSnow

That’s it

Fra 34-17 Fiji

Score doesn’t reflect how hard fought and competitive it was

allblacksfan2

A good game. There was a lot of regard shown by both teams towards each other in the post match interactions. Interesting to see the stats, Fiji had more possession and territory than their opposition and had more carries but France had more line breaks.

African Monkey

Impressed with Fiji. A side on the way up and will only continue to get stronger.

MiketheSnow

The Georgian ref is quickly becoming the best ref in the world

Wait till the poor bugger gets hung out to dry following a contentious decision and that’ll be it for him.

Fuck, but watching Borthwick’s England is making me even more cynical.

He has been, he carded Farrell

And came back better

It looks like the players know exactly what he expects and what is going on

Discipline will be key with Jaminet kicking them from everywhere

A few of the Fijians play in France I think so they may know each other pretty well but good to see that post match respect
