@hooroo Jenkins in 2007, and Ruddock from 2004 to 2006.
Forgot about Jenkins.
I've always rated Pivac. He always did well with his NPC teams , all 3 of them in Blues region. Never got a Blues gig. Needs to work on his networking skills, obviously.

Done great things at the Scarlets
I'm happy
Yep - agreed Mike. Could be the next Joe Schmidt on the European scene.

Jeez Warburton has retired, sad news

Never gave less than his all
A post-rugby career in the media, and financial security for him and his family, is just reward for putting his body on the line
He'd have gotten 50-100 AB caps if born in NZ I reckon, can't say that about too many northern hemisphere loosies
@mikethesnow Odd isnβt it? For such a positive player he is one of the most negative human beings.

In November, Samao will play a test against Spain. That will be their first test against each other.
Spain will also take on Namibia, and - still to be confirmed - the USA.
Also just confirmed: Tonga will play the French Barbarians.
I'm seeing rumours that Eddie has gone completely bonkers and has John Mitchell lined up as an England assistant.
I look forward to that entertainment and addition to England's journey.

Eddie could end up being a better plant than Robbie was

Yep, it's in the news currently.
Looks like the team with the 3rd worse defence in SR (which has some baaaaaaaaaaad defence) is off to specialise in defence for Engerland

That highlights all the fears I have.
so MItchell is now English...IIRC his teams were never that great defensively, always decent attacking.
So chop a few office and grass roots staff for good ol' Mitch?
"If they believe John Mitchell is a better defence coach than me then good luck to them," Sean Edwards soon to be ex Wales defence coach. Touche!
Mitchell seems to give off the vibe (to most NZ fans of a certain age) that he's faking it.
What are the Bulls like on defence?
I've been to https://sanzarrugby.com/superrugby/competition-stats/ but they are a pretty hopelessly incomprehensive set of stats.
The most relevant set of stats I could get from there to assess team defence is Team Tackle % won. Where Bulls are 14th out of 15 in the comp.
There's not even a category in that hopeless site for tries conceded!
@bovidae said in NH International Rugby:
Is Mitchell also in charge of defence at the Bulls?
probably not.
