Stargazer

LOL, this looks like a SR team stacked with ABs and they're even resting a few players.

Stargazer

Manawatu

1 Fraser Armstrong, 2 Nick Grogan, 3 Samu Tawake, 4 Liam Mitchell, 5 Jackson Hemopo, 6 Nick Crosswell, 7 Rhys Pedersen, 8 Sione Tu'ipulotu, 9 Jamie Booth, 10 Otere Black, 11 Adam Boult, 12 James Tofa, 13 Hamish Northcott, 14 Josiah Maraku, 15 Drew Wild

Reserves:
16 Sam Stewart, 17 Fa'alelei Sione, 18 Sione Asi, 19 Fraser Stone, 20 Brayden Iose, 21 Griffin Culver, 22 Stewart Cruden, 23 Sam Wasley

.

Possible debut for Aaron Cruden's younger brother Stewart.

Sunao Takizawa, Andre Taylor, Te Rangatira Waitokia, Rob Thompson, Sam Malcolm, Paulo Leleisiuao, Johnny Galloway, Ben Werthmuller and Ben Wyness are all unavailable due to injury or illness this week.

That's quite an injury list.

Chris B.

@Stargazer I reckon Hansen will be tuned in for this one - Perry, Moli, Squire and Frizell (and Hemopo for Manawatu) all with something to play for - even if it's a place in the injury call-ups queue.

Might even be a couple more playing for a spot in that queue.

Good to see Tim Perry back.

Havili, maybe Taufua?

mariner4life

you know what, if he is turning up to an NPC game a fortnight out from the cup to learn anything, i would be astounded. It's not 1985

Chris B.

@mariner4life How else is he going to find out anything about whether Squire especially is worth picking?

Tim Perry is having his second game all year - third if you count the five minutes in which his significant achievement was to break his arm.

Yep - and just possibly one of the locks, as well.

Yeetyaah

Frizzell at lock? Never seen him play there before.

Yeetyaah

@SammyC Shieeet my blind ass didn't realise. Suppose I only had it on in the background though.

Tim

IIRC, Frizell played the whole season at lock for Ta$man in 2017.

Yeetyaah

@Tim Didn't pay too much attention to the 2017 M10 cup. Only really got into last year.

KiwiMurph

I remember when Kirwan claimed Hamish Northcott was going to be the next Conrad Smith. Comedy gold.

Why the hell is Jamie Booth kicking so much..just keeping kicking to one of the most dangerous back 3 teams..duh..!
Jackson Hemopo still looking classy in a struggling team.

Stargazer

I like the technical commentary from Kane Hames.

@KiwiMurph same guy who thought Benji Marshall would be great rugby player..!

Stargazer

Great try from Taufua after an even greater pass from Squire.

Stargazer

19 - 3 to Ta$man. To think how many opportunities Ta$man have missed thus far ... it could have been way worse.

Throwing around the term great rather liberally.
