Scrumhalf's "failed intercepts". Ruck turnovers where the player doesn't support their own weight, has another go at the ball.

Yeah, no way Ball should have won that penalty despite what the comms said. I thought WR was getting strict with players putting their hands on the ground in front of the ball before attempting to grab the ball. That directive has obviously been ignored in this game and others at the RWC so far.

Wales are looking slick when they move the ball at speed.

Victor Meldrew

Watching the half-time TV analysis.

can someone send Warburton for elocution lessons? He doesn't sound Welsh at all - unlike that Anscombe bloke who's on with him

But.
Was carbon copy of a PK against Wales, so no point banging the T1 bias drum for that one. Been consistent.

Georgians getting the raw end of the 50:50 decisions by this clown of a ref.

Lucky the touchie isn't blind. Wales will win easy so enforce the laws ffs.

Wtf are you talking about?

Scrumhalf's "failed intercepts". Ruck turnovers where the player doesn't support their own weight, has another go at the ball. Tighthead prop getting done, etc.

All shit that happens in the course of a game but has vastly magnified negative effects on tier 18 teams.

Letter of the law correctly officiated by the ref on the first one.

Not when the ref makes up part of the law.

If you don't think that was a genuine attempt for the intercept on the second one, then

Then we have a different interpretation of the word reasonable.

I'll leave it there to be polite since you're emotionally invested in the game.

Nice cop out

MiketheSnow

Ref just penalised Wales for collapsing the maul, when AWJ had turned over the ball.

The bias against T2 teams is terrible.

Stargazer

Glad that donut is gone.

MiketheSnow

Well done Georgia.

Great organisation for the drive

Wales 29 - 7 Georgia

Eh? I never said the ref was biased against Georgia, just wrong on that penalty and others. The same by refs in other games.

MiketheSnow

Would like to have seen a replay on the hit on Adams?

MiketheSnow

Great driving maul from Wales

Deft from Biggar but knocked on from L Williams

MiketheSnow

Yellow for Georgia

mariner4life

Why is a collapse a couple of metres out only a penalty at one end and a yellow at the other? Both mauls made good ground?

Because Wales turned the maul over and were advancing away from their goal line. Ref got it wrong

Except that shouldn't make a difference. He had ruled out a try being probable given the number of defenders around. So all you are left with is 2 collapsed mauls.
