Denmark-Finland game halted. Looks like Christian Eriksen had a heart attack on the pitch after 42 minutes. Receving CPR for ten minutes now. Danish players and fans in tears. Just awful scenes.

Match abandoned. No sign of him moving. How awful.

Dutch TV have shown a photo of Eriksen sitting up on a stretcher.

Danish FA confirmed that Eriksen was taken to hospital conscious.

The game resumed. Finland 1-0. Christian Eriksen was able to talk to his team mates via Facetime before the 2nd kick off.

Hadn’t even realised the Euros were on until I saw the cars. FFS, you’ve got an £800 Golf with a £500 exhaust and a £1,000 stereo. We already know you’re a piston wristed gibbon, you don’t need 5 St George’s flags as confirmation.

Shocked to hear about Eriksen. Great that he is OK.

I watched the Italy-Turkey game yesterday but will likely only watch the late pool games due to the time difference.

Sounds like he had a massive cardiac event and needed CPR. Reports suggest he is stable. Super scary

It looks like I'll start work late, tomorrow morning. I might wear an orange outfit, too.

last time I watched England play Croatia in the Euros (I think)- was in an Irish pub in Quito, full of English backpackers, and I vowed to drink a bottle of wine for each Croatian goal.

We got lucky against Switzerland. Have to beat Turkey on Wednesday for any chance of progressing.

Lucky. You were crap save the saved header and the goal. Switzerland always lack the killer instinct. Don’t know what the Swiss team would look like without the Balkan’s war…

Phew. The men in orange beat Ukraine 3 - 2, but it was closer than it should have been. They let them back in after leading 2 -0.

Against the run of play to be fair

Scotland have been really unlucky / missing a quality finisher / thwarted by great goalkeeping

Based on the 2 games, I'd pick Portugal over Germany.

France still favourites but they weren't a well-oiled machine by any stretch.

Italy look AB-esque. Reckon they will go far in this tournament.

Turkey were the dark horse according to many media pundits. Two losses and no goals so far.

Belgium's goals were both beautiful.

Well, England/ Scotland was about as exciting as the cricket.

Tartan Army will be enjoying their post match drinks more though.

God that was dull. Hats off to Scotland for competing. England looked dire.

I told my mate that all was OK as the ICC have intervened and declared England winners based on them winning more corners.
