Ardie and Reiko were easy picks. Went for Scott Barrett for the third vote narrowly ahead of QT and Nugget.
Hard to choose but Reiko, QT & Sam Cane.
Thought our midfield were exceptional against class opponents. Close between Sam & Ardie, but Sam was in the thick of it and his captaincy was bloody good.
Rieko, Ardie, Bower... couldn't quite plump for Smith as he just wasn't as stand out - but he was crucial.
I will watch a replay this evening before voting as my end-on view at the game will be different to the TV coverage. A couple of players getting plenty of love were reasonably poor in the 1st half in my eyes. We'll see if that changes.
Rieko, QT, and Bower were my 3. Bower surprised me completely.
Next best:
S Barrett missed out due to his diving over the ruck (also on the updated stats he has 4 missed tackles and his run stats haven't increased).
Ardie missed out because his workrate was below all the other forwards before he got his awesome try (lending further credence to the fact he should be our impact forward) and then he went into overdrive, and to piss off a few Canes fans.
I would have given a @Red-Beard Franks style vote to BBBR if he didn't already have one. My rewatch this morning (focusing on him) confirmed to me his workrate was high, mostly effective and he definitely was nowhere near as bad as the thread was claiming.
Smith and Reece were both good.
Reiko, QT and Ardie.
The first two did well against a very vaunted Ireland midfield.
…..and Ardie, wow, that highlights reel sure will look impressive after that performance.
