clubrugby The Wellington Academy side beat the Manawatu Academy team 48-14 in the opening match of the Sam Doyle Memorial Trophy on Saturday at the new NZCIS ground in Upper Hutt.
A couple of the popular tries in the second half of that match here.
A tight first half ended with Wellington scoring three late tries and leading 19-0 at halftime, before pulling away early in the second spell under a blazing sky.
