So I gave it to Taylor. Set piece was excellent. Lots of carries, lots of tackles, big support player

Savea, nuggie, and telea bubbling under

Jordie, Du Groot, Lomax.

Jordie (my MotM) and Ardie, was going to be Scott until that dumbest of penalties. So Jordan, just cos of that try.

Cane had a very good captain's game tonight. Made some good calls

Jordie, Sam Cane and The Eel. Almost went for Will Jordan but Telea wins it by playing 7 as well as 11

Ardie is a machine, just looking at his stats, forward with most metres, most defenders beaten 8, equal most tackles with frizzle (but 0 missed Vs 4) - last week, same sort of stuff

The fact people are voting for so many different people speaks volumes of where this time is at.

I went Telea, Jordan and Ardie.

I feel bad at only picking one forward because that is where the dominance came from.

Telea is far and away the best left wing for NZ. Madness he was left out last week. I hope waht he did was serious, otherwise that is a truly idiotic time to stand someone down.

@Machpants think 3 of Frizzels misses were in the last quarter too, fatigue?

Sure but couldn't he have been fined instead? Or a stand down next year?

We don't know what the offence was, so it is hard to say if the punishment fit the crime. I am sceptical of dropping people before bif games for anything less than serious offences.

The leadership group sets the rules and punishments, and the players will know them. It doesn't matter how serious it is, they followed their process. Telea was a muppet for knowingly breaking the rules and got the punishment set out by the leadership group. You can't change the rules cos it is an important game or important player.

Frizzell, Jordie & Lomax (forwards deserve more love for the platform that was set upfront).

Where did you get this info? We heard it twelve years ago, but I've not seen anything recently that suggests that.

But yeah, it was more than just getting home late, bit of a fracas.
