@Daffy-Jaffy if Scotland can't beat this team then they will never beat them. Still a good Bok team but I think their are some vulnerabilities there.

Such as .......

OomPB

Only 4 players from the England starting team. Willemse back to his best position in 12. Glasgow beat the Bulls in the URC final three years ago at Loftus. Its a tough one for the Springboks. The secrets will be the scrumming. Boan Venter against his x teammates.

@Frank 3 front rowers that can only scrum and no ball runners. Papier who has not played for Boks for 6 years, Pollard out of form and woeful in URC final, Roos to prove that he is not just a URC flattrack bully, Cobus Wiese is too short and not a lineout option. But I still think they will beat the Scots 🙂

OomPB

@Rugbyman who is your 3 props that can only scrum?

@OomPB starting front row bud.

OomPB

@Rugbyman Grobbies give much more then just scrumming. He poach like Marx Papier is in great form. SA URC player of the season. He played his way back in the team.

@OomPB Papier is unproven at test level. I do think he is ready to step up but he has not been in the Bok setup for 6 years. URC is a low level like Super rugby far below Test level. But he is probably ready to prove me wrong now 🙂

OomPB

@Rugbyman agree on Wiese and Roos. However de Villiers, Roos and PSdT as a combination will be great. Wiese no.

Glasgow vs Bulls (ok a bit simplistic)

Scotland have a chance, but they can’t let the Boks get away in the first 20 mins.

Wonder if Finn Russell starts this weekend? Might come off the bench. Seems Jordan went pretty well against the Argies.

Could this be the upset of Round 2?

@ACT-Crusader Possibly I think Boks have some weaknesses in this team but it wouldn't surprise me if they blow the Scots away in the last 20min.

But if the Scots come out attacking and keep up the intensity then who knows. They a better attacking game than England but they might battle with the Boks' power game.

On paper the Scot’s should walk this. No wait, the boks should walk it. But untested combinations could be a problem

Fine pair of players who should have been capped more, victims of Scotlands amazing depth.

I'm glad I was sitting down when I typed this.
