The two Smiths are pretty incredible players - tidy things up and create and make it all look pretty easy.

Throw Barrett into the mix and the Lions are going to have their hands full (and that AS might not even get to start).

taniwharugby

so call from Jacko - the balls out
a hand form the Stormers grabs it back into ruck, Highlander who came round when he said out, Jacko tells him to leave it...

I thought that was a try unless it was a double movement.

Gunner

He's knocked that on into the Highlanders leg, no try.

taniwharugby

@Gunner although he has never lost contact with the ball...

Gunner

@taniwharugby common sense prevailed, bugger the law book, he knocked it on....

Should be a try then

22.1 Grounding the ball

Grounding the ball
There are two ways a player can ground the ball:
(a) Player touches the ground with the ball. A player grounds the ball by holding the ball and touching the ground with it, in in-goal. ‘Holding’ means holding in the hand or hands, or in the arm or arms. No downward pressure is required.12
(b) Player presses down on the ball. A player grounds the ball when it is on the ground in the in-goal and the player presses down on it with a hand or hands, arm or arms, or the front of the player’s body from waist to neck inclusive.

@Gunner but we've seen tries awarded because the ball wasnt lost if he maintained constant contact...not saying that was right 🙂

Gunner

Oh fuck, how's that a high tackle, the guy had fallen so much he was almost sitting on the ground.

Highlanders luck there. Naholo clearly off his feet for the turnover.

Tordah

Fekitoa having a horror game

taniwharugby

haha Jacko over ruling the AR

Gunner

Tits for hands Fekitoa.

Landers doing their best to keep the Stormers hot on attack.

As I type, they go the length...
It's the Highlanders night for sure.

Shit that's lucky

taniwharugby

Stormers have had zero luck in NZ so far, and getting reamed for it!

I don't think they have played too badly even though they have been dealt two thrashings.

Damo

I think that try was the first time th e ball had been out of the Clan's half in the second half.

Tordah

lucky not to get a red
