@Bones Mostly just flopping over on the ball
Yeah, plus crazy flying in the side for no reason, holding the ball in the ruck on the ground...
Did we stop doing the basics at training? Our ball retention is dire. I know NH rugby is boring but at least they know how to look after the ball.

As a coach - where do you start after this hit show? Perhaps with...Hello my name is...
This is a rugby ball, you need to protect it with your life. If you hold onto it you can score points. Scoring points helps you win the game.

A letter of resignation?
The Chiefs breakdown work has been really weird (and disgusting) all night. They're all just ignoring the tackled player and watching or running off? It's one of the weirdest things I've seen. No one going into protect the ball at all.

I can't put in to words how much it has pissed me off

Me too! The tactic itself is unexplainable. We don't expect your resulting anger to be any different.
Congrats to the Wolves, they have looked good this season. They may cause a few upsets this year.
I know Michael Little in a roundabout way, and he's been excellent. We've all enjoyed cheering him on tonight and I think he's been the best on park. Well done SWs!
I straight up hate you hopeless bastards.
ALB and BBBR to play only as hard as to keep themselves match fit. Don't kill yourselves trying to carry this collection of mediocrity.
Well done Sunwolves played really well, enjoy your night in Hamilton
So very, very poor. Embarrasing for a kiwi team. Making history is one thing, doing it in such a shithouse manner is another.
Come home Brodie, all is forgiven.

@broughie 2019, the year we realised our coaching talent was actually leaving in concerning numbers...
Fixed.
@broughie said in Chiefs vs Sunwolves:
Not only the Chiefs but NZ rugby, except the Crusaders, has been horrible to watch.
The Canes looked pretty good last night.

Just because the Chiefs played a couple of shit games?

No. What happens when teams rest ABs?
@Stargazer Agree but they were horrible against the Crusaders. But we were dominating last year except for the Blues and this year not even close.
@Bones no.
Because each team other than the crusaders has already looked limited at one time or another. Squad personnel cannot be ignored and is an irritating niggle when the one of the lesser 4 in the NZ conference have played
But I agree, 3 rounds means little. Bit different from previous years though
