Ooh. that doesn't look good.

mariner4life

Boosh. right in the beak.

You would think that players would have got the message by now. Going in at that angle was only going to have one result.

Yeetyaah

Get ready for Cheik to blow up

MiketheSnow

Could easily have been red based on precedent.

NTA

Good explanation. That's the call based on the framework.

But of course, how often does that happen?

ACT Crusader

Aussies doing their part to grow the game

antipodean

This far into the RWC, that's entirely uncontroversial.

White goes down like a sack of potatoes.

mariner4life

Aussie ruck work not physical enough

ACT Crusader

Good timing to disrupt Marika

Nup - shoulders and force not apparent

I'm not saying he didn't make the correct call.

But with what's gone on before and a French ref in charge fuck knows what could have been given.

This particular French ref has been ok from the coupler of games I've seen him

antipodean

That 13 is having a storming game.

Yeetyaah

Is To'omua seen as the starting 10 for Aus now? Or is shithead Foley still the favourite?

Agreed, been the best of them I think

ACT Crusader

mmm.... Aussie strip it out of Georgian hands and then another Aussie picks it up in front of him. Offside?

Well played Georgia - impressive from them.

HT 10-3

MiketheSnow

Australia already thinking about England methinks.

Right - must go and do some work I suppose.

I'm sure Australia will do the necessary in the second half.

Syphilis, the best of the sexually transmitted diseases.

@NTA Nick, what's happening in the scrums? Looks to me like Aus are dominant, but I'm keen to know (a) if this through genuine strength of scrummaging or skull-duggery and (b) if you think the Wobblies have emphasised the scrum, because that's where they want to take on the Poms next week.

Yes, we have more power because our second row are a capable pair.

Thus, we aren't fucking around with tricks - just trying to negate their attempts at de-powering our scrum.

We are running what I think would be our first choice scrum, tho Alalaatoa could replace Kepu and offer a bit more around the park. But against the Poms maybe an old hard head would be useful for 40 minutes.
