The Yanks score their first Try against the ABs

Another record gone. Time to sack Foster

Stag

Strange that with all the dominance the All Blacks still look so laboured, hard to just not go through the motions I suppose

Keeping the powder dry.

Seriously, they are utterly dominant. Hard to be critical of a side who are leading by more than 50 points at the drinks.

ACT Crusader

I wonder if the big US lock gets a try assist for pushing his halfback through that gap 😉

Will post a pre-emptive whinge here about a first world problem I'm currently experiencing.

Long weekend in 1770/Agnes Water.

Used Aus v Jp as a test for the main game tomorrow a.m.

Unfortunately the Wi-Fi seems to be crap (this is alactually the case as proven by other internerding including Fernage). Or the Telstra network is crap. Either that or the casting between phone and tele stuffs up the stream. As all I was getting was buf... buff .. buffferi ... buffering regardless of combinations.

Tried to drop the resolution to see if that helped, but nup.

Quite annoying and will annoy one immensely in an AB game.

So maybe GOM during game tomoz.

Mind you, long weekend in 1770/Agnes Water.

So solution seems to be to leave phone out on balcony table. No buffering.

Game is not whelming me though.

Good on the Seppos for scoring.

Stay in the pattern ABs.

sparky

Even Owen Franks might have scored in this one.

Or Bridge might even beat a defender?

Tordah

Did Angus say "Fucking hell" after he got thumped just before the US try? Was a pretty funny situation

Yeah, it's noticeable how contact in the narrower channels tends to end on our side of the advantage line.

sparky

Wil Jordan ran 133 metres with the ball in that half. George Bridge ran 18 metres with the ball.

sparky

Quinn Tupea had a fantastic first half.

Luke Jacobson scored more tries than Sotutu, Cane and Papalii put together.

Victor Meldrew

That was a bit of magic from DMac

taniwharugby

@sparky tbf the ball hasn't really gone his way

Or he hasn’t put himself in the right places? A few times the ball has gone his side and Jordan was over there.

Yeetyaah

@crucial eh but treaty partnership and whatnot. Not the thread for it.

broughie

@crucial out of the loop but I guess this is a big issue.

Yeetyaah

I think if Augsberger had gone lower he might have got him

No Quarter

Game is tailor made for DMac. No structure and weak tackling.

taniwharugby

Would prefer they had some structure, Mounga playing 7s/touch style attack at times

Canes4life

Getting very messy now.

Duluth

I’d like to see ALB sub on and move Ennor to the left wing

Mo'unga is hardly known for playing structure either

Is Ennor even playing?

taniwharugby

@no-quarter but that's the thing, huge opportunity to play in a structure as they dictate every aspect of the game in an opposed training run

African Monkey

@crucial Yeah he got stepped by the US centre earlier and threw the ball into touch.

No Quarter

The little defending we've had to do has been poor

taniwharugby

@no-quarter and if we kick to touch instead of going for 90m tries every play, give them some ball we will have to work defensive patterns instead of helter-skelter attack.

"Grounds it in one motion" when he had two attempts at grounding it?

Interesting interpretation

No Quarter

Soft defense from Jordan
