@Bovidae can't get the preference for Trask over Reihana at 15. Trask is more of a 10 anyway.

ARHS

@Yeahtheboys Wrampling Mcwhannell Dyer Norris Finau Roe Ratima and Narawa all have big upside from what I have seen. Thompson and Reihana most likely too. Chiefs are lucky to have so many who are developing like this.

Reihana at least has more size to diffuse high kicks. McMillan seems to like selecting his Rotorua homie.

Crucial

Reihana had that brief cameo when Gatland went to get stitched up and made a very quick impression.
From an outside observer it does seem funny that he hasn’t had a decent chance.
Apart from that I’m ok with the team. Not our number one selection but a good team for the Rebels

Bovidae

And McMillan confirms there is some rotation in team selection. Retallick is back training so likely to return next weekend.

“There’s just a need to give some guys some minutes to try get our whole squad to a place where we’re fit and firing for a quarterfinal,”

That logic works well for me. So many injuries creating so many chances for player development.

ENS is out. Replaced by Tiatia

OK talking shit now... 1st TJ is our second best half, and now Josh Ione a smokey for the all Blacks..

These forwards need to improve their no look passes, seem many are going to ground recently.

Bones

Chiefs handling like a rugby ball is new to them.

Rebels have been really aggressive on D and borderline offside but working well.

Amazing a side could defend for phases and not get penalised.

taniwharugby

@chimoaus and they are often well behind the advantage line and the man taking it is static or crabbing.

Rebels have started well. Chiefs struggling for territory. A bit like how the Canes started.

Torian

just tuning in and I see it's a bay of plenty back three for the chiefs

It's very refreshing. NZ teams give away far too many penalties for stupid things while defending.

Duluth

Rebels still struggle to create space. They’re better than the start of the year now they have some of the big runners in the forwards back.. but their attack still looks like the worst in the comp

I have to say having a player that can kick well and get you to half way on exit is so important in today's game. Such a disadvantage when you can't exit your own half.
