Considering injuries very strong team. Not use to this much depth.

I'd have Aumua and Lomax starting but if they're on limited minutes then whatever.

Who's missing that was available? Rakete-Stones I would have expected to see on the bench.

I think Mafileo, Aumua and Lomax are our strongest front row so I'm sure they'll provide plenty of impact off the bench.

I think half of them should be available after the Aus trip, so round 3.

I feel like we have the depth to cope.

I heard somewhere that Higgins had clean up surgery on his shoulder so is on limited minutes to kick off the season. Maybe that's why he hasn't featured in the Canes 23 for this week.

Shame that Dan Sinkinson didn't get some game time in the pre-season matches. Keen to see what the Waikato player of the year can do at this level

I'm hoping he has a season like Moorby did for us last year when he gets a chance. Looks to be a solid winger with all the skills in the book so hopefully he gets a crack at some point.

@Canes4life I liking the Canes team named for Saturday, I catually quite like the idea of Lakai runnning at 7. A little worried about 6-2 split, as although I really liked Godfrey's game on Firday, he could be on pretty early. Still bring it on , and I love seeing these young fellas getting a shot!
