Aussie getting absolutely monstered, yet still decide to run it out of the 5m. Facepalm.
24 mins in and another converted try to the Black Ferns. Given how the Ferns have overcome the early nerves, this could get ugly.
@KiwiMurph the class is there but the catching and passing has been very average so far from the ferns. Some of the defence from the Wallaroos has been borderline embarrassing.
Considering SR Aupiki finished on 25 March, it's not surprising some mistakes are made. Overall, I think the Ferns are playing reasonably well.
Nice third try.

@Bones Haha, yes.
It's delicious.
@Stargazer Superb try ,passes are starting to stick ,probably not surprising given the number of new players coming in and the lack of game time together probably explains why we saw so many handling errors and miss comunication in the first 20
Holmes looks like a different player. Definitely worked hard on speed and explosiveness since the RWC.

Yes, looks like it. Only a few minutes into the 2nd half and it's already 0 - 31.
If they want to combine SR Aupiki and Super W, the competition will be even more one-sided than SRP. In the women's game, the difference between NZ and Aussie rugby is even bigger.
Black ferns under pressure here.
What the fuck? They're relentlessly smashing away at the Aussie line.
Ten seconds later. Black ferns applying all the pressure here.
FT: Wallaroos 0 - 50 Black Ferns
Well, without being perfect, with a rusty first 20 minutes, and some mistakes to iron out, the Black Ferns had a very easy game against a very poor Aussie team. Both teams have newbies, so that can't be an excuse.
I hope the Canadians bring their 'A' game on 9 July; if not, it will be way too easy for the Black Ferns to win the Pacific Fours title.
I haven't read the comments yet but I really like the starting loose forward trio. They complement each other.
Marino-Tauhinu needs to work on her passing. Too many loopy passes. You appreciate how good Waaka is in the midfield as du Plessis was exposed on defence in the 1st half. Better in the 2nd half. Kelly showed some class on debut.

Australian rugby is fucked. Men's. Women's. All of it.
We will need an actual disaster of some kind to implement any kind of meaningful change. We aren't at the bottom yet, depressingly.
That Kiwi 10 who plays for us now isn't missed in NZ (he said, diplomatically)
