It doesn't look like we'll be able to watch that game in NZ. It's not in Sky's tv guide.

Tim

@Stargazer Apparently Stan in Australia is streaming it.

Maybe Tonga will stream it from their Facebook or Youtube pages?

Stargazer

@Tim Fingers crossed!

Stargazer

That "Stay tuned for more details!" sounds promising.

Lots of talents in this Tongan backline (Aki, Fekitoa, Folau, Piutau) and strength in the forwards. This should be an interesting game.

NTA

Will be broadcast on Stan apparently

NTA

Nope fuck that they've just corrected it

KiwiMurph

It's on NITV in Aus

Stargazer

So what is "Sky Live"?

Stargazer

@Daffy-Jaffy Great! Sky took their time to add that!

Bovidae

Afternoon entertainment is sorted!

Stargazer

Anthems in slow-mo.

Duluth

Piutau got through Toole easily

KiwiMurph

Good scrum Tongan Thor

Nepia

This is a hard watch on a large TV, 720p at best I guess, might need to switch to the laptop.

Stargazer

It they can play an international match in Nuku'alofa, then surely they can play Moana Pasifika matches there, next year?

KiwiMurph

@Stargazer good crowd. Field looks in good nick.

Stargazer

Aussie A haven't turned up, yet.

KiwiMurph

Playing into the wind why even kick it away there

They need to improve their broadcast standards though.

Stargazer

@Nepia Ideally, yeah, but we can still watch it, can't we?

Stargazer

Wow, what a try. Tonga lucky with the bounce of the ball. Good kick from Inisi.

What a weapon Piatau is

KiwiMurph

@Stargazer great piece of skill by Inisi - the ball is more likely to sit up like that when you chip the ball on it's end

Stargazer

I really hope Solomone Funaki returns to the Magpies, next season. One of the best opensides in SRP. If he played in a better SR team, he'd get more recognition.

Best 40 minutes i have seen from a Tongan team in a very long time

KiwiMurph

Aside from Tupou, no Aussie really putting their hand up in the first half. Gordon at 9 I suppose was ok

Bovidae

The Aussie commentator needs to at least try and be neutral.

Apparently, he has no hope of making the Wallabies anymore, this year.
I just read this morning that he has signed with Toulon as RWC cover (so a short-term signing, he'll return to SRP next season).

KiwiMurph

@Stargazer ah good call. Sounds like what Lolesio has also done

Tim

Wish I could mute this Australian commentator.
