Stargazer

@Jailbreak7 Even Weber is a better goal kicker. Saved by the post.

Bovidae

Love had a 1st half to forget. He looks rusty as.

Dan54

Reasonable first half, considering heat etc and first game. I find it pretty interesting watching the ref too, we have read enough comments the NH will kill us at breakdown, I think this fella fairly lax myself.
Also didn't realise that Mitchell was in Japanese camp.

Tordah

Oh, how the fabled New Zealand rugby depth has seemingly evaporated over the last decade

I think better coaching might have seen a better performance.

Where's Clayton?

There's some bloody handy players in neither ABs or AB XV squads

Ahh some typical NZ kicking again

Should we be really worried that both McDonald and Holland are in the ABs coaching setup next year.

But at least Ryan, Hansen, Razor are all proven class. 3/5 isn't too bad.

Victor Meldrew

Shocking decision-making from Goodhue.

Fucking so many shit miracle ball attempts

@Victor-Meldrew even worse from Nankerville ignored his outsides twice and then drops it cold

Holland is a good attack coach. It's not like he's gonna be shoehorning James Blackwell into the AB locks

Tim

Strange pick of the forwards so far.

Source? And hasn't Tyler Blydeendal been their attack coach for the last 3 seasons?

Tordah

How can a maul ending up as three different truck and trailers result in a penalty FOR the attacking team. Catastrophic state of mauling refereeing affairs

Source?

Watching the Canes under Holland for years. Their set piece attack has been consistently top shelf - without a quality 10 either. A real ability to create space and attack to it.

Tim

What a mess that maul was. Where was the penalty?

Great scrum and pressure from Weber

Canes4life

Numia going well at scrum time.

WR Law 69.1
attacking team doesn't score from the maul after a 5m lineout.
Sanction: Penalty to attacking team.

How long before each call on the scrum?

Draw and pass, draw and pass

Stargazer

Beautiful team try. Goodhue getting the meat pie.

Canes4life

Great try. I’m loving Sullivan on the wing. Hopefully the Canes play him there next year.

Nice broken play try, Weber showing a good bit of deceptive skill there

African Monkey

He may have no pace anymore, but man Goodhue still has beautiful hands.

What's he usually playing? I've only seen his brother with the funny looking haircut at the Blues play, who's had some very good games and some shockers.

6-21 after a lot of pressure on their line, 55 mins

Canes4life

@Tordah he’s been injured most of the year but usually plays centre.

Tim

Very good team try. Nice hands.

Lots of changes, just as team starting to click
