Joans Town Jones

Pissed I'm gonna miss this but have tickets for the double header the following weekend.

Is this on Stan?

Found it.

Impressive to see a referee backing her own ability to make a call twice on a try and a no try

Is it artificial turf?

Good hit back from the Canadians

Halftime 21-14 to the Black Ferns , first 20 belonged to the Ferns but impressed with the Canadian pack to crawl their way back into the game after being down 21-0 ..
Ferns trying to be too flash as opposed to earning the right to go wide by doing the mahi up front first

28-21.

Bit close.

booboo

Nice work to put the winger Paul over.

33-21 kick misses.

Grubber might have been the better option there

Good we are seeing a contest , suspect the Ferns may lay on a few more tries before games end

Donsteppa

The Black Ferns should go on to win this. But the sheer effort and determination shown by the Canadian players has been impressive. Whatever the result, they look like the sort of players who will never need to wonder "what if?" later on.

booboo

38 21, but checking knock on. Should ok ...

Few grass burns showing on the knees from the turf

booboo

Kick is good. 40-21

Canadian 8 is a very good player

Not sure of her name Lucy Jenkins #19 for the Ferns has been busy since coming on (no sound here)

Jenkins looks a very good athlete

@booboo played back in the 90s from what I recall , the apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree , I was really impressed with De Goede ,her work rate and the ability to deal with the ball from a retreating scrum , there’s a few male players I have seen over the years that can’t control the ball at the back of a dominant scrum .lol
Chuck in goal kicking as well .

Hans was skipper at RWC87

I watched the 1st half live and the 2nd half this afternoon. As others have said , it was good to see Canada take it to the BFs. They were very unlucky to lose to England in the SF at the RWC, so are a good team.

The game against USA will be a route. du Plessis looks to lack some top end speed.

But she runs a very good line and her support play was very good.

@ACT-Crusader I'll be interested to see how Grace Brooker goes.
