So Pearce penalises Tonga for holding a SA player in at the ruck but then ignores a SA player clearly playing the ball on the ground before that try. Total BS.

And gives the first ever penalty for attacking players trapping the tackler in the ruck. Despite vermuelen purposefully rolling himself there to try to win the tackle..

Re the head shot stuff, It’s so weird to watch as a NH fan, all year the interpretation would have been as per Luke Pearce’s reaction. The Aussies seem to have totally different interpretation (it was Aussie officials who cleared Farrell) and Aussie TMO disagreed with Pearce who then changed his decision
