Good grief. At least you could actually see a player in space for that one, instead of a guy in half a gap with defenders either side
Fiji tried hard but just not clinical enough. Better team won. At the end Fiji did not play with freedom and never looked like it.
Only watched the 2nd half - Fiji comeback was great, but England superior in the forwards - set piece and rucks never looked safe for Fiji. Still, the winner of tonight's QF should be heavy favourties against a pretty average looking England team.

Pathetic refereeing

Lawes, Itoje and Earl were massive for England.
All three wearing Richie McCaw’s Invisibility Cloak
Earl was brilliant. A 15 minute heart attack at the end but did enough. Will be tough to recover in 6 days to play an even more physical game next week.
Still in it. Still alive

Ref will be Reynal or Peyper most likely. If so you're well in it against a side that will have just played their final.
England forwards are very, very good. They are going to be a hard team for anyone to beat in this tournament.

Fiji almost beat them, they might scrape through next week but no chance in the final.

Peyper has to get over his calf injury., perhaps BOK?

Holy fucking shit.
Comms pull the old "south sea islanders".
Now they get it
I didn’t know that was an insult.
If France win tonight, the second Semi Final will be England Vs France on the 218th anniversary of the Battle of Trafalgar.

Really? I still remember my ex's families embarrassment when her geriatric grandfather called me a colonial. I had a laugh but many probably wouldn't. Same thing. Jingoistic slang from the early to mid 1900's.

Colonial clearly an insult, didn’t know that South Sea Islander was. Not sure I’ve ever used it but wouldn’t sweat to that, certainly won’t now
