Harkin is a classy 10, reminds me of Cruden a bit. So much better than JGB.
Haig is a very hungey lineout caller when he doesn't have the big Dutchman alongside him. Seems to have safely called himself in most of the lineouts.
Whaanga isn't a winger. Doesn't have the top end pace. Looks a bit lost in space at the end of the chain. Would be best going going back to centre. Being a target and having players run off him. A bit dumb from our favourite Otago fullback there. Done plenty of good things so far, that was dumb.
@SouthernMann if it works it works. Though he does have two other line out options in Tucker and Leo Willie
@SouthernMann no idea but you can see Tucker making the calls. Bells lineout throwing is a worry, particularly when you have Holland back and should have one of the best lineouts in the comp

Out of the three Highlanders hookers for next year, Jack Taylor has been the best performer so far. Other two have been quite average
@SouthernMann well they have the potential to have one of the best starting packs in super rugby over the next few years so hopefully they all keep progressing
Otago really needed to just take the 3 points there. 2mins into the second half and only up by 1 point. Really not worth that risk and they paid the max for it.
@Landers92 they don’t have the cool calm and collected head in the team. One of their biggest issues
And we kick the ball away for a cross field after 20 phases. Baffling. A classic otago second half looks to be carrying on for the third week in a row

Stanley Solomon very lucky. Super Rugby that would be a penalty try and 10 in the bin
The fact he got a second hand on it probably saved him there.
Pledger has been very accurate from the base. Lio-Willie has just had his best game of the season
@SouthernMann agree. Despite Hastie’s good start, Pledger’s form might be the end of the end for Hastie
Try confirms my belief Creighton is a winger and Whaanga is a centre. Haig is just all class. Does everything right.
That’s a try I’m pretty sure. Sheck with the potential match winner.
That was impressive from Wellington again.

So weak from Otago. Ffs
Wellington have so much firepower.

I liked Haig back a couple of years back when he played NZ age group. Hopefully NZ gets him and the poms keep their grubby mits off him.
@Canes4life it’s still not good enough. The tackling and defensive positioning has been a serious issue for this team for several years (ditto the Highlanders). They desperately need some proper coaching or this young generation will go down the toilet
Yes boys, bloody well played. Didn’t expect that with the raft of changes.
Pretty sure Thomas has never beaten Peter in pro rugby.
Bring on the Shield challenge on Sunday.

Poms or Aussies. He can go wherever he wants if we don't cap him. I reckon he's the perfect lock/six bench player.
