Canterbury defense has had a bit of intensity so far this week.

Big George just caught a yellow so he can catch something. Good to see being around the All Black environment hasn't disrupted his Super Rugby form.

Oh well, we won the Waikato-Canterbury game that mattered today.

The injury toll will be a big concern.

Darry was excellent so was Harmon.
Macleod and Ennor played pretty well.
George Bell was a mixed bag.
Samipeni Finau was pretty anonymous but made one good run to set up a try.
Chay Fihaki was not awful but their is nothing exceptional about him. NPC is currently his level and we should be debating whether he is up to Super Rugby level not All Black level

Issac Hutchinson the best player on the field for me today.

Finau dink kick something certain AB midfielders couldn’t manage.
