Brilliant individual effort. He's really come of age this year. Fiji would have loved to have had either him or IAR at the World Cup last year.

After it was judged to be foul play it was basically always going to be red.
I have no problem with this ref’s decisions
And he admits when he’s wrong
Wish he’d clean up the diving in at the ruck
Don't understand why Gats persists with Griffin at tighthead, I get that he has potential but hasn't played.
Henry Thomas is performing well this season, just a head scratching decision for me.

The below list of mitigating factors is deliberately not exhaustive but low height has never really been taken into consideration with the new(ish) framework:
@MiketheSnow it looked like the loosehead got under Griffin for the penalty.
Think he'll be a good international tighthead in a few years.
He's not ready now though.

Obviously nowhere near as good as yesterday’s England v Australia classic but this is a really hard fought Test between two teams at the lower end of the world rankings
