A player being low is not mitigation once foul play has already been determined (but it can result in no foul play being determined by the ref). A sudden drop in height can be - but that wasn't the case here.

Is that so? Whatever the process, I think a YC would have been the correct call here.

The below list of mitigating factors is deliberately not exhaustive but low height has never really been taken into consideration with the new(ish) framework:

Well they weren't allowed their top side last week (due to it being outside the international window as you mentioned). Today, they were, and their performance was obviously a lot better than last weeks showing. This is in reference to jailbreak's post.

Same. Australia very rarely put 2 good performances together these days, and will go into this game with a bit of expectation.

Will be a close on either way. England struggled to slow Australia's ball, Wales will put a major focus on it and try and force the Aussies to play with static ball, make things messy at breakdown I feel. If they can do that, I think they're a big chance.

I watched the last 20 mins live. You can't blame the coaches for the lack of basic skills from the players. Williams' long passing is really laboured at halfback. Gatland must have went for the spew in frustration.

Second run trying to execute Garland’s plan could be very different
