@Billy-Tell said in 6N 2025: England v France:

France could lose this and it will be because of tits for hands.

French tits are apparently a worthwhile excuse for losing, just ask Cam Roigard.

Bones

Earl suits openside, especially considering he appears to be the smallest loosie on the field.

Bones

How on earth can you let that forward pass from Penaud go?

sparky

B-B scores his second try after France nearly butchers it.

Victor Meldrew

France had an 8-1 advantage...and almost mullered it.

Billy Tell

I’d love nz to have pace like BB. Class winger.

sparky

Looked for all the world like a forward pass in there.

sparky

England 19 France 25.

Bones

Ref better try and level it like he's done all game.

sparky

Terrible kick by Ollie Lawrence.

sparky

Feels like England are going to lose a close one yet again.

Victor Meldrew

Daley in after a glorious mini-delayed pass by Fin Smith,

sparky

Under the post with the kick to come.

Billy Tell

Good match. France only have themselves to blame. Just shocking hands all match.

sparky

Kick over. England 26 France 25

sparky

But there is enough time for a restart.

sparky

And kick it off.

England win.

sparky

Le Fuck Up by France.

Great persistence by England. Congratulations.

sparky

Boy, did Dupont's appalling knock on around the 20 minutes mark matter in the end!

sparky

Huge twenty minutes by Jamie George when he came on. Calmed down and steered everything up front for England.

Victor Meldrew

England are becoming a pretty likeable side. Lots of passion with minimal dick-headed-ness.

W32

Congratulations England, well played. France look tired

sparky

@Bones Wash your mouth out, I have a nephew with that name.

game_film

@sparky Cam Roigard would have caught that.

Dan54

Well enjoyed that game, and thought at times it got chaotic as buggery, kind of unlike England . Like @mariner4life I enjoy games that go that way for a while. It's where players stand up and get counted I think. Was a bloody good advert for game all together, well I thought.

Catogrande

A really exciting game, especially for the neutral. I was watching it in a bar in France with some decent french guys, all of us applauding any good play and shouting at the TV when our side fucked up and it’s fair to say that they shouted more than me, which makes me feel that France lost the game rather than we won it. Notwithstanding a bloody good fight back.

I still see little structure in England’s game plan and look back to last year’s game v Ireland and think “is this another false dawn”?

On the positive side of things there were some good individual performances; Chessum made his mark and carried very well. George made a mockery of my view that he cannot be an impact player anymore, but for me the biggest positive was the dropping of the replacement by numbers strategy that we’ve seen far too often. Let’s hope that continues.

Unlucky France, you did more than enough to win but tits do not make hands. Another day and you’d have been 20 point winners.
