I still maintain Hotham is young Perenara.

Unfortunately, yes. He needs to go away and watch some old Aaron Smith clips. Do the core stuff well first eg good service. And cut out the Justin Marshall step-then-pass.

Has his upsides, young Perenara was a great difference maker until he learnt to fly. Powerful pass that's on song occasionally. Dynamic, strong player into everything.
Blackadder should concentrate on his undoubted strength - defensive input - as his carrying isn't the most effective.

I feel like Perenara started off with a hiss and a roar and got worse with age. Hotham is playing like Perenara late in his career, not who you want in the ABs.

Oh he has potential for sure! Just needs to work on the fundamentals first.

This Reds attack is garbage
A lot of standing and catching, not many bodies in motion

I'd have him over Christie in the Abs squad

Really liking what I've seen of Ennor since his return. Tough to say
Havili and Ennor in the AB midfield you reckon?

I'd have Helen Keller over Christie.

McLeod is available.

Are you allowed to "tackle" a player on the deck now?
Just flop on top, no release and get back to your feet
I expect Turunui is fuming.

Jeez this is a circus. Horrible rugby.
Being in chch (and not man enough to brave the weather haha) it’s farking cold out there, hands will be frozen. In saying that, Crusaders have been good. Reds, not so much…
Has any team, ever, in the history of rugby been 12-0 up just before halftime and turned down the shot to go 15-0 up and elected to kick to the corner?
Absolutely baffling.
Got what it deserved by JOC missing the touch.

The Reds have done this all season
