Why did McLeod kick it? Probably wouldn't have gone 60m but jeez don't kick it away with time over

How good is it for that McLeod guy? Plays club Rugby in Canberra and just out there ripping in with internationals

Kicking the ball was a bold play haha

Yeetyaah

Why did he kick it

Bones

I'll forever be perplexed at the thought process going through a player's head when they kick long upon hearing the hooter.

NTA

Wanted the chase but there was no way they could get closer than the chasing players.

And probably played league growing up

MiketheSnow

Well done FNP

If they’d had a hard running 12 trucking it up and committing the back row and 10/12 channel they could easily have won this

canefan

The last Lions try came on the back of another ill advised chip kick. But FNP put up a brave fight

NTA

Every Lions player out there looking unhappy bc they know they just shit the bed in terms of selection

Torian

First nations Pasifika bloody great effort fair play proved a real contest. Stoked my Scottish wingers and Lions 1-12 multi came in tho

KiwiMurph

There should be some people involved in that AUNZ team (coaches and players) who should be feeling sheepish watching that game.

The less fancied FNP were far far better in comparison.

Starting Kalani Thomas was also a massive mistake

antipodean

Closest game of the tour and there'll be a few on both teams making pointed comments through their on field play to their respective coaching staff. For very different reasons.

These players just cemented a legacy for the next tour. In a way the AUNZ nonsense didn't.

MiketheSnow

If McCarthy is injured then Beirne to second row and Morgan to 6

Chessum and Pollock on the bench, Earl had no impact tonight

Farrell has played himself into the 23 along with Mitchell and Kinghorn

AUNZ was an opportunity lost. These boys just come out and niggled, made life difficult for the tourists

Everyone saying how it would be nice to continue the FNP concept. Seems a long time to wait for the next Lions tour. They could take a leaf out of league's book and have an annual FNP vs Maori PI clash?

These Stan commentators are getting more insufferable the longer the tour goes - cheerleaders would be more balanced

Yep andorgan Turunui has become the most crigeworthy whinger there is. Even when I agree with his opinion, I find him a pain.

Good excuse for mid-week beers and a close game for once. Feel sorry for Darcy Graham. FNP played with heart and organisation, but the BILs has too much fire power.

@Bovidae You’d hate to be a hooker between those two. Talk about head in a vice!!
