Duluth

Strong start BOP

Trask scores after a lot of phases

Thats a Red Card imo

Duluth

Aimed high, hit high with force. Has to be upgraded to a red

Duluth

Springer had time to look inside earlier

Duluth

It stayed a yellow??

Looked bad on the few replays shown

Amua showing some good pace to scramble back

Duluth

10-0 BOP at HT

A surprise that Ta$man are scoreless after a half of rugby

The commentator seems to have gotten Lasaqa mixed up with Narawa a few times.

KiwiMurph

Been impressed by Fehi Fineanganofo playing 12 today

KiwiMurph

Havili absolutely palmed off by Leroy. Embarrassing

Judd putting in a master class of how to exit from your 22

KiwiPie

For once the ref calls a man in front of the kick and it wasn't. Justice done with the pen missed

KiwiMurph

Gee BOP have been impressive today

@KiwiMurph the makeshift midfield has done well

KiwiPie

Really felt we were starting to crumble when Ta$man eventually scored but we've been superb since then.

KiwiMurph

Hardly a performance by Blackadder that screams pick me ABs. And usually he dominates at this level

Duluth

37-7

Biggest margin of the weekend so far

Dan54

Enjoyed that, well worth coming home early from golf club to watch. The Bay were every bit as good as I thought they would be, and Ta$man a bit perhaps not as good as I expected.

Bovidae

In summary:

  • Trask lasted 80 mins.
  • Another important missed tackle from Havili.
Torian

Congrats BOP really entertaining game from them Leroy, Emoni, Kaleb & Veveni outstanding

KiwiPie

Really impressed by the Bay defence today. Made it hard for Ta$man to cross our line and when the tide turned we finished them off nicely. Definitely helps that so many are in super rugby so we don't have to keep rebuilding the squad.

SouthernMann

With that Ta$man backline I did not see that coming

BellsGeorg

@KiwiMurph He's just working his way back from a health thing that is being kept private (i.e not an injury) but it sounds like it was really kicking his ass. He probably shouldn't be in the ABs selection frame until that's well and truly behind him.

What a result for BOP!

to be fair if he plays like today he shouldn't be in contention

Smoked.

@ploughboy for sure, just saying I wouldn't look at him too harshly for being a little slow to ramp into form. It's to be expected. He's spent basically the entire gap between Super and NPC aggressively treating something pretty serious, from what I've been told.
