Tangitau is back from injury

Bovidae

Did Fiti Sa get injured against NH? I didn't see any of the game.

SouthernMann

He plays good footy, what's the bet he is wearing black by the end of the Rugby Championship

Yep he out with a knees injury, don't know for how long. I think he actually did it first against the Taniwha.

KiwiMurph

Hopefully for both ABs and Auckland's sake Tangitau can recapture his Super Rugby form.

Makes sense he is coming off of the bench given he has had a number of months without playing (plus Auckland wingers have been playing well)

KiwiMurph

Auckland can't catch a break at the moment

Duluth

Haha well they have almost zero chance of winning now

At least we'll see some more new players

Kirwan

Be lucky to come third

Duluth

Still playing with lots of width

Kirwan

going to be long game

Duluth

AJ very casual there

Kirwan

uggh, people flinging the ball around aint going to help

Duluth

I wonder how many of the starters are sick too. Some low energy errors

Kirwan

This is going to be a high scoring game, being this loose (from both teams) in this heavy rain

Kirwan

this is awful

Duluth

Great run Crowley

Torian

Well that's good my Jacomb & Lennox multi comes in

Kirwan

Just need to practice wet weather rugby and not play sevens

Duluth

A couple of powerful runs by Clark

Kirwan

I see handling errors come up there, need a stupid pass stat

Kirwan

sigh, was just about to say I was happy with 3-17

nzzp

Tough watch for Auckland supporters

antipodean

That was too easy. Auckland giving up a simple try just before half time.

What's wrong with playing wet weather rugby?

..and playing a tighter game plan makes even more sense with late changes and illness

Dan54

C'mon the Naki, don't take foot off pedal boys!

taniwharugby

@Duluth lack of smarts with alot of the coaching plans and players it seems.

Kirwan

of course we have lost Che Clark as well

Kruse

Glorious day,
Watch the Mariners knock 11 runs to roll over the NY Mets,
Followed immediately by the Seahawks smashing the 2024 SuperBowl runner-up KC Chiefs.
And now, get home to see the mighty 'Naki Bulls dominating the hapless Aucklanders.
What a day, what a glorious day.

antipodean

This could be a long 40mins.

antipodean

Forwards making good ground with the carry clean in close, so they fling it to the backs once they're less than five metres out. And predictably it doesn't go to hand.

Time for some forwards to start punching teammates.

Some of this rugby being played in wet conditions by Taranaki despite the disposition of the home team with unavailability’s is absolutely sensational
The skill level is out the gate

taniwharugby

how good are Crowley and rona

Torian

Lennox a solid winger

Kirwan

This is painful. Can't take out this many players against good teams like Taranaki

@taniwharugby the smarts in the Naki side when confronted with a situation is superb

antipodean

Beautiful work by Rona. Reads the second man play and applies defensive pressure. Picks up the loose ball and kicks ahead perfectly for Lennox to score.

Fair to say Segners absence has a massive impact on this Auckland team
