Has everyone else lost commentary or just me?
Just you Nepia, well I still got it.
@antipodean said in Hawkes Bay v Canterbury:
I have and better for it!
So how do you know? If you don't like commentary so much surely you just mute your tv?:beaming_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Laban has been even worse than Nisbett with his player ID in the 1st half.
I like Laban as commentator, not just because I have played against him, but because he loves the game and players so much.
And I love things like his comment when Flanders had come through maul and killed ball ,legally etc. He said there was a time in our game when you did that you left the lost some limbs. Mils added and you needed new a new jersey!

Zarn Sullivan is more rocks than diamonds
His relaxed kicking motion really is quite slow it seems
@Landers92 seen that happen far too often i dont think hes a player that always looks to link with his outsides either
A good footballer but i dont see any more than a super rugby ceiling
@Steven-Harris yeah he doesn’t look like a player playing with confidence. He had some pretty rough off field stuff happening throughout the super rugby season so that could be impacting him a bit.

Commentary back on for the second half.
Where are you to lose commentary Nepia?
@Steven-Harris I had big wraps on him when he first played NPC in 2020 and Super Rugby the year after but hasn't kicked on how I thought he would.
@antipodean said in Hawkes Bay v Canterbury:
Johnny McNicholl looking like he's turned back the clock this NPC.
Showed some wheels in the super campaign too.
Was impressed with our pack tonight. Thought HB kicked away too much good attacking ball, but the Cantab defence was pretty staunch.
@Nepia said in Hawkes Bay v Canterbury:
Well beaten by the too good Cantabs, too many errors and penalties.
Might be time to go back to the old guard of McClutchie and Fakatava.
@Dan54 Sydney, I think Stan lost the commentary.
Must of mate no trouble here.
Suspect that was rugby gods punishing you for living in that place.:beaming_face_with_smiling_eyes:
