Auckland don't seem huge on trying to bring Tangitau into its attacking structure

Incredible kick from Millar to get them in position for that try.

I had higher hopes for Auckland after we decided to rest three of our best players.

Wouldn’t mind Hastie putting that boot away and holding the ball for a bit longer

That's a good example of why it isnt always a good idea to look for touch when clearing

You would be better off just hoofing it down the middle of the field.

Did not think Auckland would be this bad against the understrength side we rolled out.

As far as penalty tries go I thought was pretty generous.

We have the other two back three members. Really want to see them going well..

Have to wonder if playing such young players is worth it. Many of them just don't have the physical strength to tackle full grown men.

Doesn't create confidence.

This is the same problem Otago has had over the last few years. The skill level was there. The physicality wasn't

Auckland basically sucked the same amount last year with journeyman so that didn't help.

They'll be fine. Tangitau has already proven he is class at Super level and Tito-Harris has impressed as a winger in a bad team.

Funaki got taken out off the ball right in front of the ref. This ref is blind as fudge. Luckily its not having any impact on the outcome.

One thing Ive also noticed this year in NPC is refs are ignoring not straight even when teams are competing.
