23 Louis Rees-Zammit (Bristol Bears / Bryste – 32 caps)

Not convinced with Assiratti and Edwards starting
Hardy should be nowhere near that squad

Bench looks great otherwise

We don't have a tighthead who is anywhere near test match quality. Argentina could pick one of their U20'S loosehead's and we'd still be in the poop at scrumtime.

sparky

Wales light in the front five and at first five, but a decent side elsewhere.

Argentina by 7-10.

Duluth

At the Principality Stadium in Cardiff?
Wales have won 14 of 22 against Argentina?
Wales by 3.
Because I have so much riding on this...

Virtual piss up if you're correct 🙂

MiketheSnow

Miserable drizzle in Cardiff

Hopefully they’ve closed the roof

Working on the event today so will shed tears later

pooler fan

Expectations are pretty low anyway Mike.
If we keep the defeat to under 10 points and manage to produce some semblance of a gameplan I think most would be happy.
Apart from the event goers at the stadium of course who still think Shane, Jamie Roberts, North etc are still playing 🙄

Bones

Wait... how was there a camera in the try scorers face immediately after he dotted down? It didn't look like the ref was there.

Shane’s got a new job

There's a fucking camera man on the pitch! What the

Bones

Ok he's standing behind the dead ball line...

Bones

Geez only had a lock to beat once he was around the centre. Big moment.

Bones

Oh it was the openside, thought it was the wing.

MiketheSnow

This could be a basketball score

From both sides

Bones

Yeah should be really evenly matched, shit at eoyt Argentina Vs trending up from the bottom Wales.

Bones

God Argentina are pretty to watch when they spin it. France from twenty years ago.

Bones

Oh that's not a good look.

Bones

Missed, should still be yellow.

Bones

Maybe just skimmed him.

Bones

More I think about it, should probably be red. If he connected that was going to be one of the ugliest things you'd see in a while.

If it was an AB it'd be worthy of a criminal conviction I'm sure.

Bones

Holy fuck, genius from Matera.

Argentina are looking far too strong for Wales. Without Morgan, the score would have been heavier.

pooler fan

Ben Thomas with a totally brain dead moment spoiling that last 10 minutes for his team.
If I was Morgan or Lake I'd be "telling" him what a twat move that was at h/t.
Argentina killing it around the fringes ATM, too quick and powerful.

Bones

@pooler-fan Wales seem to have decided to only defend for a minute or two every so often and in between to mime they're one of those airport workers with the glow sticks guiding Argentinians into gaping holes. Probably not helping.

sparky

Wales are comfortably the worst of the Six Nations teams at the moment.

pooler fan

@Bones some awful missed tackles, but many of these players aren't used to anywhere near this intensity.
That Matera one before his kick being a prime example, Rogers simply has to make that tackle or even slow him down but to just fall off like that is poor for a pro player

Catogrande

Argies making lots of post contact metres. Wales being outmuscled once again.

Bizarre to see a loose forward field a standard kickoff, standard step back to straighten up into the defence, then go 30-40 in clear air with all the time in the world.

sparky

Wales win much slower ball than other major internationals side. It makes it very hard for them to challenge defences.

sparky

Another Argentine try.

sparky

And Tomos Williams is off to the bin for an off the ball tackle.

Bones

Bit mean of the ref to start the second half when Wales are still in the shed.

sparky

Wales 14 Argentina 38

Bones

Very reminiscent of ABs v Boks in the capital. Wales almost might as well not be on the field for all the opposition they're providing.

Bones

Has Wainwright got a kiwi grandparent?

Fuuuuck . . .
I can remember when Wales were really, really fucking good.

sparky

Jac Morgan scores but looks like he has done his shoulder doing so.

Wales lose their best player.

21-38

Bones

Geez what a break by Welsh ten, phenomenal run. Unlucky but superb ankle tap.

Will Jordan would have scored that.
