Can't beat Gardner in Canberra. Blues should have gotten penalties at the ruck if reffed the same way.

The penalties given for Brumbies ball being over the ball were so quick - so many were without the ball being lifted.

no clear release, and the tackler was often impleading the ruck in a lot of them... both teams

@kev totally agree no clear release on many of those turnovers on saying all that the Blues really should have iced that game when they were up 27-18

Angus has got to be the most overrated ref around. Just because you communicate clearly doesn't absolve you of the bullshit hometown decisions he routinely hands out in Canberra.

All they do is boo and then that idiot comes to their aid.

But, having said that, I was impressed with the Blues tonight. Starting to warm into our work. Thought Christie had a solid night, Clarke was outstanding, and we stopped their threats for the most part.

Sadly, we have the Crusaders next, who we have a phobia next, so I'm not expecting much next week either.
