sparky

For their bravery in defence, Wales are so limited in attack.

Victor Meldrew

Brilliant try by Carre. Playing like Nonu.

Tandy should tell the backs to fuck off and pick more forwards

@sparky just give it to a prop in space ..brilliant !
No more than what Wales deserve

pooler fan

Gats didn't pick Carre cause he was too heavy - prick.
We can't afford to leave out ball carriers like that when we've not got much else tbh.

Victor Meldrew

Wales backs actually run onto the ball and open up a gap to the line. Adams looked so shocked he fluffed the pass.

That’s a deliberate knock on ? but the ball still goes to hand
Everything that’s wrong with Rugby right there

Victor Meldrew

@Steven-Harris

TBF, same thing happened with a Welsh player in the 1st half.

Victor Meldrew

at 60 mins in, this is probably the best Welsh performance in the last 2 years

Victor Meldrew

Furlong being handed his arse on a plate at scrum time.

Victor Meldrew

Botham in under the posts. 19-17

Wales showing some massive ticker

Victor Meldrew

Superb D from Edwards.

....but Ireland in again

Victor Meldrew

Ireland take the 3 to prevent Wales drawing the game.

Speaks volumes for Wales performance tonight

The english co commentator is simply awful
Who is he ?

Only English bloke is Miles Harrison, Others are Irish bloke and Shane Williams

A few lost lineouts have been crucial for Wales all lost at the wrong time

@Victor-Meldrew we have got the NZ sky feed head caller is an Irish guy and his comments guy is an Englishman

Victor Meldrew

@mikethesnow can take a lot of heart from that performance.

Plenty of composure, forwards were superb (apart from 3-4 lineouts), defence was outstanding. Backs are still shit on attack though.

If we were 10-10 in the last 20 matches we win that

Carley is fucking useless

MN5

Bad luck Wales.

The Carre try was pretty cool but not the best prop try ever ( as the YouTube highlights would have me believe ). That would be this one.

sparky

Run, Fat Boy, Run!

Victor Meldrew

@MN5

Way, way back, there was an AB prop, Jazz Muller, who could run the 100m in a ridiculous time - just over 11 seconds IIRC

It would be 100 yards in those days not metres wouldn't it ? still quick for a front rower.

I think I read Troy Flavell could do about 11.5 for the 100 metres.

Think he was a pretty clean/fair player. Are you thinking of Alistair Hopkinson?

I remember him getting the shits in a game, having a brain explosion, and stomping on someone, maybe head, upper body anyway.
Cant quite remember the game.
Dont actually think he got sent off, those were the days.

But I do remember having a go at an aquaintance (who actually new him) about it, at the time.
He was saying nah nah he's a great guy; white line fever!

Carre with the moment of the tournament. Didn’t see the game but pleased the Welsh boys have earned a little bit of self respect. Hope their bounce continues
