It absolutely pains me to admit it, but this brand of rugby will go very well under a roof.
The Saders are going to be more beatable under the roof, they only look good tonight because they are playing the Drua, who we all know don’t show up for away games.
ONLY??
What about the soft refereeing decisions and the propaganda being spouted by the commentators?
It will come back to bite them
@Steven-Harris said in Crusaders v Drua:
You can only play what’s in front of you I actually thought the Drua where half a chance given the Crusaders injury list and the fact the Drua made the Blues work hard for the win last week
Nothing against you or your opinion, but lets not kid ourselves here, they were never gonna win in Chch. They haven't won out of Fiji since round 1 2023.
@African-Monkey so basically we should disregard critiquing the performance of any home team playing the Drua at home is what your saying

Their record away from home speaks for itself.
3 and a half years without a win out of Fiji.
@African-Monkey laughable to suggest they were a chance because the saders have a couple of injuries. Yeah saders really struggling to field a first class team...
@Steven-Harris said in Crusaders v Drua:
@Bones Landers playing the Drua at home would be a closer game
Yeah fingers crossed we don't get any injuries and have to bring in All Black replacements.

Even the commentators have cottoned on now, some of the "misses" are hilarious.
@Landers92 said in Crusaders v Drua:
Nothing like a coat hanger tackle being completely missed…. lol
I prefer "missed"
No waxing lyrical from Marshall when the drua prop made a beautiful swerving run and offload. Go figure
Jordan at least giving the link game a shot in this match is heartening, but he's got a long way to go.

We can say this, whilst also acknowledging that the execution from their backs has been very good. They have scored some very good tries this season.

Can't marshall shelve the cheerleading when playing one of the bottom teams?
He puts on his neutral hat when the ABs are playing no problem.
That was a good way for the Crusaders sign off from the stadium 100 wins and pretty good one.
I know a few seem to not like Crusaders,, but they pretty handy team, and they have bloody good supporters that keep turning out on cold and shit weather, and did when the had a shit year a couple of years back. So enjoy going to your new stadium fellas! And a good Levin boy scoring 4 tries , well done Cody!
I firmly believe that somewhere along the line the penny will drop for the Drua, a bit like it did for the Jaguares, but I am highly doubtful Glen Jackson is the coach who will get them there. They need an experienced operator, and possibly a couple of non-Fijians who can add a bit of steel to their pack.
@frugby I personally don’t think Fijian players and mean this respectfully are mentally tough enough we have seen this at times at RWCs
They have the physicality and flair but lack world class game managers
Thought the Drua missed halfback Frank Lomani who is a world class 9
Doubt wether it would have changed the result but the Drua are a better team when lomani is in the team

Funny, I don't hear much difference to the way he commentates the ABs and Saders. For example, the way he seems to go out of his way to agree with decisions against the ABs. He does the same with the Saders. And I reckon people overseas would consider him to be biased towards the ABs.
Will Jordan throwing the ball around with gay abandon.
Even Bonesey must have had a trouser chubby.

Yeah it was nice to see someone with distribution efficiency that makes Rieko look like George Ford.
@WoodysRFC when I heard Hotham was out and I replaced him, I also moved my captaincy from Leicester to Jordan

@taniwharugby I heard Hotham was out at kickoff, so couldn't swap him out.
Yeah, bit annoying. They really need to introduce a bench so you can set "emergency" players etc.
@WoodysRFC should be pretty straightforward, if a guy is a green thumb when he's locked and that changes, you can replace him.
