As suspected far too good for the Blues
Wouldn’t be surprised if we saw you fellas back here for the big dance.

Love certainly looks good playing at 10. Form five-eighth in NZ.
Now while he's behind a humming pack and playing with Roigard, he's making good decisions and executing well.
A good match in the first half and then a bit of a statement performance by the Hurricanes in the second half.
Lots still to work and we are a long way from the playoffs, but proud of how the side went in that one.

Cmon Rennie show some stones and put Love at 10
Love at 10, Tupaea at 12, Tangitau at 14
Not sure about Tangitau yet. Pace to burn but he doesn’t impose himself on the game like the top wingers do.
The Landers basically dont have an attack coach (or at least it doesnt look like it). Tangitau does all he can.
@Canes4life I think we'll see two of the Blues, the Crusaders and the Hurricanes in the final this year.
The Blues will be stronger with some of their injured forwards back.

Yeah it’s hard to know how he would look in other teams - work rate is important for wingers. I think others do more that he does at the moment.

The fuck was Spencer thinking there?
No left foot but still had the chance to clear it.
Well a Canes man would have to be bloody happy with that, well I am anyway! That was pretty good I thought

All he had to do was kick the shit out of it. Anything was better than that dumb option he took.

They're certainly looking good at this stage of the competition. For Canes fans, hopefully they don't get a run of injuries going into the finals.
Next week we'll see what the Chiefs can do who should offer sterner stuff than tonight's Blues.

Wrampling not up to this level so far. Needs to learn how to defend.
Is it technique or willingness?

Willingness. He was shirking big time
Based on the last 20mins I saw, I would not mind seeing an ABs backline of:
9. Roigard
10. Love
11. Tangitau
12. Tupaea
13. Proctor
14. Jordan
15. J Barrett

Zarn was impressive in a well beaten team
It's a pity he only fires if he gets a shove from the opposition, his game really lifts, more accuracy than he's had in ages.

JB can't even nail the position he's playing, let's not do that.
I'd even prefer Jordan there.

Clarke is playing awesome rugby as well. Don’t drop him now he’s come good.

JB is leading the comp in try assists isn’t he? Or close to it. He was v v good for Leinster at the back and it’s a position that suits his skill set better. Plus he’s one of the few backs that can actually pass (aside from the dip shit stuff today)

I watch him closely and I think his work rate is good
One thing he could be better at is backing himself a bit more - it's good that he's not a hog but there are times he should run instead of pass

Agreed. What was interesting was how poor JB was in what was almost an AB 9-13.
Hopefully a one-off.

Not sure, but I wouldn't hang my hat on that as his nod. Rieko did the same for the blues a couple of years ago and didn't exactly blow the doors off for the ABs - and that was being selected in a position he plays.

Fair. I’d like him on the bench at the very least

Yeah much prefer him there than his brother. Dmac at fullback even though he's playing awful, unless Harkin keeps tearing it up. The Jords on the bench.
