That was a horrible watch, Landers got done by a pretty shitty decision but they were their own worst enemy tonight. Had so many chances to put away the Brumbies.

Defensively the Brumbies midfield might be the best in the comp.

More often than not if you are in an arm wrestle style of game with the Brumbies, you will lose.

That finish masked an embarrasing display by the best Aussie team.

Two teams play, one team wins. An absolute arm wrestle, and in the end they can find mitigation in a bloke being flipped past his neck, but they can’t in a 2m lock side stepping into a stationary bloke.

The Highlanders defended bloody well. Are they a great team? No. We lack go forwards, we had some handling issues, but the man reason the Brumbies were poor was a top notch defensive display.

The happiest I’ve been in weeks, and Ben O’Keeffe can shove it up his arse.

He literally lowered his head into Bell which is the craziest part. I could live with it if the guy who flipped Dunshea got a card but he didn’t which is why I’m so pissed. Zero consistency from O’Keefe tonight. I hate blaming refs as so much goes into a result but shit that’s hard to look past.

Embarrassing loss against a poor Brumbies side. Who is calling the lineouts ? Why did they keep on throwing long when they had a hooker who is not able to throw straight ?

Yeah, it was genuine bad luck, and I could see it being ruled as just a penalty. Yellow cards are common, but in a tight and low scoring game it was unfortunate.

That was a tough watch and I watched the 3-minute highlights package

Super Rugby is really struggling with depth this year. Round 9, good weather, covered stadium, and a very low quality, low scoring game. Friends turned it off after 30 mins.

Far from a great game for the neutral, but watching it live more than anything the game felt quite odd.

Obviously a few handling errors but the defences of both sides were very good which led the game being played between the two 22s.

I imagine the time inside the 22 would be up there with the lowest ever in Super Rugby.

Don’t worry, Brer O’Keefe will never ref a RWC final
