Not sold on Roigalrd at all.

I was told last week he's the reason Love is looking composed. I'm far from sold on this performance.

canefan

Talk of the Brumbies' demise may have been premature.....

Victor Meldrew

That passing was simply outstanding - wonderful try

canefan

That's quite a decent substitute front row coming on for the Canes...

canefan

What a try. Aumua with a deft grubber

Let's hope is isn't doing a Ratima and regressing somewhat

Ok these takes are wild

One average performance in a mid-round game does not mean he's regressing.

Cripes

He's making Fin Christie look like an All Black.

Nah, he's the best by miles - just expressing concern

probably the best two line out throws I have seen from Aumua all season

canefan

Pretty good finish from the journeyman Moorby

And i'm saying there's no reason for concern.

That's a good response!

Feels like a long time since we've seen a NZ winger in Fineanganofo's form.

Big, strong, fast and good on the feet.

Do we pick him this year for the ABs and deal with next year, next year?

I am starting to think he is the player I am waiting for Clarke to be.

I think Clarke was our best winger last year. Fineanganofo is just better, in all facets.

Clarke is better under the high ball and is tested at test level

Fineanganofo did pretty good for the 7s team and is great under the high ball.

No you weren't, maybe you were too busy saying he could do no wrong while he was being outplayed to listen properly? You were told that he was going bloody well and that Roigard takes a fair portion of game management and kicking load off Love, and that having the AB halfback is helpful if you're a young 10, likewise the AB 12. Somehow you took that as an insult.

Roigard's been shit tonight though.

I'm a huge Fehi fan.

But to say that he's better than Clarke in all facets is not accurate

canefan

It's like watching share prices every minute of the day. There will always be ups and downs, by the overall trend is positive

Bones

Canes producing a bunch of sad points AB wise this season. Fehi, Dearns no future in black, Love what could have been last couple of years.

Bones

Oh fuck off Fehi, why aye man.

canefan

Yessss. Wow, that recovery and down field kick from Cam was shit. Bin him quick

Aumua stone walled three runners in about a minute there. Reminds me of something I used to say about Ravens Linebacker Ray Lewis back in his prime - when he hits you, you stay hit.

Shouldn't have kicked. A 2023 Roigard would have run the full length of the field.

canefan

It beggars belief that we are losing this guy. Get the lawyers in and try to get him out of his contract ASAP

In all seriousness Clarke hasn't had many great games for the ABs. He'd been inconsistent until last year and while he was clearly our best winger last year he only played a few games due to injury.

Let's not rewrite his career based on a few good games.

Imagine having both of them in the AB squad

Bones

Hit the 60th minute and bang.... Roigard is back.

canefan

Love must have been taking fend lessons from Cory Jane. Delicious run, deserved a try only for tits for hands Cam to spill it

Chill with the fancy shit Love.

Crazy Horse

@Bones said in Hurricanes vs Brumbies:

Agree. As far as I can remember he was the first person in the entire world, in entire history, to miss a kick at this stadium. Not what I am looking for in an AB.

That was pretty awesome from Dearns

antipodean

LOL that's a hell of a way to fuck up a try. Grounding it on your own arm.

I don't disagree.

I'd pick Fehi in black this year.

The question is can he deliver in super rugby semis/finals and tests.

canefan

This dry weather rugby is shit. Bring back the old stadium please

antipodean

Has Jordie had a hand transplant and Shields was the donor?
