That could be a crucial bonus point lost for the canes

Fair enough though, we were up by a lot. Resting starters in game is a rare luxury

What a shame the game isn't going for another 30 mins. We were coming!
Damn spoke too soon!

Caleb Clarke is a nice guy and gifted Canes one more chance
A good humanitarian.
Not sure why the Blues hurried after their last try. Should have run down the clock as there was nothing left for them to gain

BP taken back. What a night
Canes definitely made a statement tonight. Without Roigard as well, even better.

Was very impressed with Enari who is this guy and where has Enari gone.
Haha he’s come on hasn’t he. Good on him.
I was one of his biggest haters so fair play to the guy.

Funnily enough, tonight he actually played a better game than I’ve ever seen Christie play
One of the most comprehensive Canes performances I can remember for some time.
Fehi pulled as a precaution for a hammie twinge
Man I hope Dearns loves this footy so much he decides to move back to NZ and then we can pick him for the ABs.
That'll do.
Too much power, too much class, too much hunger from the Canes for our opponents tonight.
We can approach the rest of the season with a lot of confidence after that.

Blues are just nice guys. They are going to gift Crusaders a home playoff game and then gift them that game as well
Aumua laughing at Wheeler's KFC jibe. I know for a fact the team have a nutritionist this season for the first time in the club's history. There'll be no after match KFC

Genuine question, what's the difference between this years blues (and last years) with the 2024 Blues? Why the terrible performance?
Akira Ioane. Dalton Papalii. Riccitelli. Plummer and Sotutu in career best form. Mark Telea.
No Beauden Barrett.
Rieko is better than Taele.
Heem was there for impact plus Fusitu'a, Ta'avao, Beehre, Choat etc
Ofa and Paddy were near their peak too.

I feel so sad watching Dearns' highlights package
Don’t feel too bad because he’s already quoted saying he’ll play for the Canes again but he doesn’t know when it will be. Might be for two years after the WC or later in his career. He also wants to play in Europe.

We got a good record down there too......

I want to see him in Black! Dearns, Holland, Darry would be a tasty young trio

Yeah that won’t happen unfortunately. His wife is from Japan and I’d say they’ll settle there.

He doesn't need to stay forever..... But I agree, I don't see him standing down

You’re probably right.
Well I can't help but admire the way the Canes are playing so well done to them.
For the Blues, the bench was positive and we managed to score the most points in the final quarter when the game was well and truly gone.
Segner probably had his best game and was the Blues best. Wrampling-Alec again showed his talent. Darry was good in some parts but he has to take some criticism for the lineout.
Blues defense was too soft, not enough hard hits but it is tough given the speed an accuracy of the Canes.

All the teams have that role in place within their S&C team. All of that stuff starts at academies. Surely the canes have had one before. Crazy if they haven’t
