Wanted that early release so I’d say that’s something that’s been on his mind and carried into the season a little.

I would take Jacomb playing the way he has tonight for the highlanders next year every day of the week.
Chiefs looked really good that half. Impressive when you consider no Dmac, Narawa, ENS and Carter.

I think we might finally be seeing signs of Taylor aging. He’s done bloody well to keep it up for this long with his work load but this season is the first real time it’s been noticeable

I'm still confident he'll deliver in black. Makes sense to pace yourself as the starting hooker.
