@Bones Joking aside, the obsession with chip kicking and box kicking is something I haven't really seen from the Canes this year.

Surely against the Crusaders, the plan is to starve them of the ball. I've also found it confusing the lack of long kicks too.

All the Saders have to do is keep attacking Filimone. He’s got no defence.

They have just shown the kicks on TV - I can't understand why Roigard is leaving those from the 22 infield. Put them over the sideline and work to set piece. They've played straight into the Crusaders hands.

I think Penney is a mud coach, but the Crusaders gameplan is far from the world's worst - certainly a decent amount of intent in the way they chuck it about.

Personally I can’t see it especially having to travel

That was an impressive first half by the Crusaders. Those last two tries in particular showed them at their best - good carry cleans, good passing skills..

The Canes loose forwards are getting dominated.
