One thing that has been bothering me the last few years, and I have seen it from both sides tonight, and it just happened now, I reckon our wingers stand too shallow.

Barring a massive comeback, Canes cant afford to take an entire half to settle next week

What happened to Cody Vai this year? He looked excellent (at least on attack) mid-season and hasn't been sighted since? Would have certainly added some incision to this Blues backline (if he's not injured).

Knew the Blues would be up for a fight and we definitely needed it rather then a blow out

Bench hookers really are an achilles heel across NZ rugby. Cannot for the life of me understand how we have so many hookers that can't feed a lineout.

He had some bad games midseason. Underpowered in attack and exposed in defence

What benefit has Perofeta added to this team? Cotter should've been bold and gone with a Beauden/Spencer 10/15 combo to start.
