No Quarter

Foley rips the ball out and it's called a knock on by the Blues player. Last week TJP knocked the ball out of Foley's hands and it was called a knock on by TJP.

It seems if you knock the ball out of a players hands and it goes forwards, it's a knock on by you. If it goes backwards, it's a knock on by the player with the ball.

I'm struggling to understand the rulings on that.

Bryn HaLL taken too long to pass.. step hop pass...

Blues scrum under all sorts of pressure...tahs looking for a PT/YC?

Higgins

Goodness the Blues tighthead looks very likely to play his way out of any future involvement in the All Blacks if he doesn't start showing some ability to withstand the efforts of his Aussie opponent.

Higgins

And he gets popped again, To save further embarrassment please get him off for heavens sake.

Blues getting caned by the ref right now...looked like 3 penalties (scrum-off side-high tackle)

Higgins

And a penalty try inevitably comes. This is too much for all followers of NZ rugby to take. You can just imagine Red Beard, PAJ and Bart spluttering in their beers over this indignity.

in terms of penalties yes, but in terms of being penalised for being weaker, I just dont agree.

Ofa in trouble.

Really getting worked.

Didn't look like a lot coming from behind him ...who's the tight head lock?

Chris B.

How is that not a yellow card as well? Isn't a card more or less compulsory for a penalty try?

gt12

The blues look proper terrible.

Try given, so Blues aren't as bad as they've looked. That was pretty easy really once they got going.

Gunner

Waratahs living offside.

I reckon it depends, if its foul play, which prevented the try, YC every time. If you just get monstered on the scrum and your head pops up, propably not, but if you continuosly pull the scrum down then you might be looking at both.

Of course those scrums that just fold under pressure, it might be hard to identify the culprit, so how on earth are you going to bin someone?

Tahs d offside by half a meter consistently
