Christie would be nowhere near the side if not for a really rough run of injuries. I'd prefer Fakatava, but him I can cut Robertson some slack for.
For the 10 I can't. He's first choice, and he's so much more of a source of the problem than our 4th choice halfback.

Duluth

Given the problems with the high ball coming into the game it really was a crazy decision not to pick Clarke.

Darth Sader

How much damage has that 40 minutes done to All Black rugby

Tim

46 missed tackles according to the Herald. Such shithouse loose forwards.

I think it was crazy not to pick him in test #1 of the season. He was excellent for the ABs last year. Seems like depending on who you are, your Super form does or doesn't matter.

Time to fuck Proctor off he is not up to it.

Not our biggest problem

Does not change the fact that he is no up to it.

Don’t use him as a straw man. He went off before the floodgates opened

oh fuck off he was shit before he went off that is what counts as far as his game goes.

Tim

@Chris Yup, Proctor has shown nothing at test level. Just a passenger.

sparky

@Darth-Sader A lot.

The thing is we all knew that this side had a stinker of a half in them.

Kirwan

Least Jordie seemed to care, saved a try and the big fat 50 being put on us. 12 tackles

Dan54

Well ,as I had posted, today was my 71st birthday and was looking forward to this test so much. I then watched the worst AB performance I have seen live in my life, by quite some margin.
I can handle a loss happily, but when I think the players look like they had lost interest, to say I am pissed is an understatement

@ACT-Crusader 46 tackles missed is diabolical

Yes the number isn’t great, but I’d be more concerned about our poor completion rate overall and the fact we could not capitalise on the Boks poor completion rate also.

We got chances but as the territory stats show we were fighting it up hill with our poor kicking game and lack of just methodical play from 10 or 15.

Sometimes the simplest answer is the right one.

Our best I thought, even if that is about the lowest bar imaginable.
Seems hard to believe that there was once a time when I thought he was the undeserving Barrett re selection.

Duluth

Boks handling was really poor in the first half

Another issue was the number of shoulder charges we went for - Sititi, Vaa'i, Williams etc. Just luck that none of them got head contact

Kirwan

Vaa'i in particular was lucky not to get a card for his

The 2027 RWC unfortunately looks a 0% risk of any breakdancing...

sparky

@Kirwan Jordie Barrett, Scott Parker and Fletcher Newell can stay. Not really fussed about any of others based on that.

Highest tackles and carries. Plus he took a couple of highballs dropping back.

@Dan54 Happy Birthday.

I am sorry the ABs served up such a disgusting shocker for you.

Taking nothing away from the Springboks who were outstanding in the second half, I hope some of the players, coaches and senior administrators involved in that appalling All Blacks performance feel thoroughly ashamed.

@Duluth That second half was every bit as ugly as the one at Twickenham against France in 1999 in the World Cup Semi Final. At least then we had Jonah the Great on the pitch to sprinkle a bit of magic amid the rabbits caught in the opposition's headlights.

I am going back to New South Wales County in 1992 for an All Blacks performance that has left me feeling so thoroughly disgusted and angry.

ARHS

Well played South Africa! We seem to be overcoached. Too much in their headspace clouding their instincts and ability. And I don't think we have enough rugby intelligence in the leadership group. Plenty of doers, not enough tactical smarts.

It was vs Sydney wasn't it?

Ended a few careers. As this should too

Just watched the post match interview with Razor. Cannot believe how soft the AB cheerleaders from SKY are with him. Sickening. They really don't seem to care that the legacy and the brand has been absolutely shattered tonight.
