I know Canes fans complain about some of Laidlaws selection choices but boy are they by far the best coached side in the comp

Holland and Jane say Hi

jimmyb

@canefan yes those two are v v v good and can imagine international gigs for both of them in a few years

How's Barret gone at 15 for the Blues?

Bones

Oudenyran puts his hand up for the apprenticeship.

canefan

Oudenryn with a great try

For me, not terrible. Just tried to do the basics, doesn't pose any threat with ball in hand

I would honestly go with Devery over Tuputupu. Too hard to win tight contests when you can't win your own lineout ball.

Just throw short godammit

Crazy Horse

Oudenryn always looks to me like he has had to put down his beer and put out his cigarette before getting on the field. He is going to be a fan favourite I reckon.

Victor Meldrew

Pencil in Odi as an AB bolter.

Bones

@Crazy-Horse get him and Preston off the bench at the same time.

Looks like a FAB

Landers92

Crazy to think Crusaders had the choice of Oudenryn and Letiu. They were spoiled for choice. Letiu looks extremely promising too. Excited to see Oudenryn get a full season next year

Moorby to come from behind and get the try scoring record

canefan

Canes have a subpar first half, less than accurate game in general, and still put 57 on the Blues. Crazy

Sums up the Blues and this comp

Well done Canes

Fill that stadium next week

Good win by the Canes

looking forward to next weeks final - will be interesting to see how both teams play next week.. hope the weather plays ball.

Landers92

The 2 best teams in the comp going at it next week. All you can want as a neutral. Going to be a belter. Hopefully the tin is actually full next weekend

hopefully they will let the cowbell in

@canefan Which is why the canes will win it next week. Everything has clicked for them this season. Which is good for the competition, rather than seeing the same team win it every year.

I feel nervous, the Chiefs have our number and are in form too

Crazy Horse

I am thinking about throwing a sickie next week so I can watch the final live. I haven't been this excited about a final in a long time.

Anyone else glad it’s not the Crusaders in the final for a change?

@canefan I'm pretty sure the canes are due for a win. They've learned from the past two seasons to not choke. That match during the regular season against the crusaders doesn't mean much when it was the canes b team.

I feel Canes are too loose for finals rugby. If I was a betting man and went with gut feeling, I think I would put money on the Chiefs. Round robin play, Canes every time, but .....

@mikey07 Absolutely. They got exposed as frauds last night.

I thought the blues put up a top fight till 55, lost too many top players in the first half to be in with a chance really.
This final should be good, few wounded in both teams though. Wellys the place to be next Saturday!!

The Chiefs are effective at slowing us down. We will have to be far better than tonight

Congratulations to the Canes
Watching the Blues in the last month or so is like death by a thousand cuts
The only upside is players not involved the Blues wider squad will be finally released to play club footy
This aspect of the Blues organisation of not rēleasing players for club has been a disgrace much of it driven by a head coach void of ideas but wanting every player at his dispisal
