Congratulations to the Canes
Watching the Blues in the last month or so is like death by a thousand cuts
The only upside is players not involved the Blues wider squad will be finally released to play club footy
This aspect of the Blues organisation of not rēleasing players for club has been a disgrace much of it driven by a head coach void of ideas but wanting every player at his dispisal

Anyone else glad it’s not the Crusaders in the final for a change?
No
@Old-Samurai-Jack Probably annoyed at razor over not getting selected in 2024 after having a great season. Some people have mentioned that he wanted to leave the Blues earlier to go play in Europe.

Lakai is a lock in for AB starter. Seriously good
Ridiculous work rate

@canefan Which is why the canes will it next week. Everything has clicked for them this season. Which is good for the competition, rather than seeing the same team win it every year.
I feel nervous, the Chiefs have our number and are in form too
I feel Canes are too loose for finals rugby. If I was a betting man and went with gut feeling, I think I would put money on the Chiefs. Round robin play, Canes every time, but .....
The Chiefs are effective at slowing us down. We will have to be far better than tonight
I don't think the one-sided match the week before helped us, the tough first half tonight reminded the lads how tough finals footy is hopefully.

Definitely sharpen us up. No injury concerns as a result of the game either

Disgrace? Yet you heap praise on Sevu Reece in the other thread? Wow.

I know Canes fans complain about some of Laidlaws selection choices but boy are they by far the best coached side in the comp
Holland and Jane say Hi
it is ok, we Blues fans would be happy to take both...

A massive motor on him, he comes to the fore as the game wears on.

@BerniesCorner If he were a bit better over the ball he'd be a world class 7.
The guy that pulled 3 turnovers tonight? And is top 5 for the competition?

I didn't realise he had that many tonight. I've always seen him as good but not great in that aspect.
