Higgins

North Harbour continue to pass up relatively easy three points form penalty kicks. By my count there have been about five that they could have been successful with with a half decent kicker. That's 15 points and they are still behind by ten.

That was an awesome fend..Weber wonโ€™t want to see that at the video review

DrivingMaul

Survived the yellow with just the loss of 5 points, BOP might just pull this off!

Goodness, how did the referee arrive at that call. The BoP tighthead claerly caused that scrum collapse.

No, The harbour prop did by over extending and not creating the right gap. That was what caused the BOP prop to collpase down.

Parsons confusing ability with ambition..why does he think heโ€™s a ball carrier..?

Baron Silas Greenback

Hollinshead doing his best to lose this, missing the kick and then throwing a 50/50 pass when all BOP needed was to keep posession inside the NH 22

@Stargazer
Love the run and kick from Eklund.

JK

Wow really ? Will have to watch the highlights then as knew we were gonna lose and had kids rugby prizegiving (why the hell they did it on Harbour club day I have no idea) so didnt catch much of uit.

Whether it was the game of the weekend, depends on who you are supporting. It certainly wasn't my game of the weekend.

@JK interesting that Northland who had a club day at the Magpies game on Saturday attracted over 7;000 people,.probably the best crowd of the 2019 Mitre 10 Cup ..it was promoted vey well..;with free buses laid on for all the clubs that were able to attend.

Would have been more but @taniwharugby saw the writing on the wall and left just before the start of the game.

@Nepia not to sure if you were at the game, but most of the crowd stayed until late, most started filtering out with about 5 to go..sure the team could be traveling better, but they do get very solid crowds..quite opposite to what we are seeing at some of the bigger centres

Haha, no, I live in Sydney and have driven through Whangarei once in my life - this July.

I was just being cheeky.

@Nepia yep, me and my thousand kids left en masse prior to k/o, but still had to pay to watch the U14 game I went for, so did my part!

Wise, you don't want to subject young kids to the savage second half beating we witnessed. ๐Ÿ˜‰
