Better round from Parker
Interesting start to this round. Parker left his corner early and then stood there and allowed Joshua to come running out at the bell and take up the centre position of the ring.
So are we seeing another instance of talent but lack of game plan?
Unless Joe puts AJ on his ass it's pretty much all over.

Easy win for AJ. I had 2 rounds to Joe and the rest to AJ. At best Joe could've won 3 rounds.
Iām proud of Joseph, much better effort than tua.

compubox is full of shit. Parker threw more punches than that. IMO Parker took it to Joshua but lacked a plan B(just like Tua) but unlike Lewis, Joshua barely came out on top. To be honest I gave Parker 8 rounds.
The ref is a disgrace and he looked after AJ. Parker will be back though.

They came prepared for a 12 round boxing match and delivered emphatically.
Criticism of the ref unjustified IMHO.

He wasnt disgraced and the first fighter to take Joshua the distance ,
Joshua deserved his points win ,
Lots of suss things happen in boxing , nothing new there and in this case ,
We had the A side big money fighter , wanting to keep his distance and sit behind his reach advantage , and a ref rushing in to stop them fighting in close when they werent actually holding , but looking like ready to offload some big shots from in close ,

Parker just lacked a bit of size in there I thought. He fought well but lacked Wilder/Fury's size/reach to really trouble AJ. Had it 117/111 myself.
